Front and center at AVANCE Global
From September 14 to 16, Epique headed to the Bellagio in Las Vegas as a national sponsor of NAHREP AVANCE Global 2026, the conference where business and cultura actually meet, and if you stopped by our booth you already know the energy had nothing to do with the slot machines down the hall.
NAHREP, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, brings more than 40,000 members and over 100 chapters together around one mission, advancing sustainable Hispanic homeownership. That's a mission we'd rather show up for than just talk about, which is why our CEO and Co-Founder Joshua Miller took the main stage on September 16 to speak to the room.
The wall that said it all
We set up one big black wall at the booth with a single question across the top, "What do you wish your brokerage did for you?", handed out some markers, and stepped back. By the end of the day you couldn't find a blank spot on it.
Some of the answers were exactly what you'd expect from people who work this hard: coaching, mentorship, a team coach, more systems, legal advice. Some were refreshingly honest, like health insurance, credit repair and free daycare. And some were just fun, because apparently a few of you would like your brokerage to cover a trip to Greece, a free trip to Puerto Rico, and someone to walk your dog while you're out showing homes. Fair enough, honestly.
The one that stuck with us most was three words written near the top: motivate, support, encourage. That's not a perk, that's the whole job of a brokerage, and it's a little telling how many agents still feel like they have to ask for it.
Out on the floor
Epique En Español was everywhere you looked, in the black tees, on the mics and on a whole lot of gold tote bags that walked out the door faster than we could hang them. If you saw someone in the hallway grinning and holding a plush toy, that was the Epique claw machine doing its job, which is to say it was the most competitive corner of the entire expo hall.
Agents grabbed copies of the magazine and got a first look at what's coming as Epique grows into Mexico, which felt especially right in a room full of professionals who serve Hispanic families every single day. It also gave us a chance to talk about why Epique en Español exists in the first place, with full Spanish-language support, resources and training built right into the brokerage instead of bolted on as an afterthought.
A real thank you to the NAHREP team for putting on an incredible event, and to every agent, lender and partner who stopped by the booth to talk shop, take a picture or just say hola.
What we're taking home
That wall is coming home with us, figuratively at least, because it's the most honest piece of market research we've gotten all year. Agents told us in their own handwriting what they want from a brokerage, and most of it comes back to the same idea: you do enough, your brokerage should do more.
So thank you to every agent who made the trip, wrote on the wall, sat for an interview or lost a little patience at the claw machine. Vegas, you were a good time, and we're already looking forward to the next one.
Now that's Epique.
